Kartoffelkäfer in Bad Salzungen

We had ordered dinner on New Year's Eve. The communication in advance was great, very friendly, even changes on New Year's Eve were no problem at all. The evening delivery was super punctual. The food itself was very tasty and plentiful. Can just be recommended.

We ordered for lunch yesterday and it was delicious. Everything hot and rich. We are all fed up. I can recommend it to everybody. If we want to have a relaxed meal after Corona, we have to support them now. Everything goes smoothly and they are friendly as ever. 🥰

The ambience, who loves something like that, is great. The staff was super nice, friendly and attentive. The food is also delicious, nothing artificial but freshly prepared and the value for money is also very good. I can only recommend it and I hope that the Colorado beetle survives the 2nd lockdown.

Great ambience, lovingly prepared. Thuringian specialties and potato pizza. Very tasty and once again very friendly "Thuringians". From the motorhome parking space 5 min. Footpath. Definitely visit !!!

Nice old half-timbered house. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is very nice. The interior of this house shines with many old, used objects from bygone times. The menu is Thuringian - German pleasure. A must for anyone visiting or vacationing in Bad Salzungen.

The potato pizza is really something special, although it would be even tastier with less cheese. Nice service, great premises, a good address in Bad Salzungen.

Hospitality is very important here! A super nice boss, a warm team and this unmistakable atmosphere. Apart from the delicious dishes! You have to go there! My kids love the POTATO BEETLE !!!

Very nice old house in the middle of Bad Salzungen with a super cozy restaurant. Great decor, staff very nice and the food was good too. Roulade with Thuringian dumplings very recommendable, the potato pizza was also delicious. If you like good home cooking, you should stop by here. Addendum: Today we wanted to visit the Colorado potato beetle again and they just shook our head and made it clear that we couldn't get a table ... I missed the friendliness of the other team on our last visit. Addendum 2: Thank you for your explanation, I wasn't about sending it away but about the way but everyone has a bad day and because of the previous day I increase it to 5 stars again.

The service is very quick in their work. Used tables are cleaned very quickly. Ordered food and drinks arrive in a reasonable time. The food is plentiful and good.

Anyone visiting Bad Salzungen must definitely eat in the potato beetle. Great ambience, rustic, great service ... everything that comes on the table is fresh. What more do you want!!!!!! With this price-performance ratio you rarely find it. Keep it up! You guys are great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice and individually designed restaurant. Very nice service. Good and fresh food. It is advisable to call in advance, as almost all tables were reserved. We were lucky for two. If you are in Bad Salzungen, you should definitely go to the Colorado beetle!
